Il Cuore Barocco - Joseph Bodin de Boismortier

The ensemble has long been systematically dedicated to discovering and presenting French Baroque music in historically informed performances on period instruments. A significant milestone in this artistic orientation is their debut CD with works by the now lesser-known composer Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, released in 2022.

The characteristic sound color of this repertoire is enhanced by the use of copies of authentic period instruments, as well as the consistent use of historical low tuning (a¹ = 392 Hz), typical of 18th-century French musical practice.

In the Slovak context, this recording represents an exceptional interpretative and dramaturgical achievement.
